We had to guess the ingredients in the Monster soup. We used adjectives to describe how the mixture felt and smelled.

Year Two enjoyed working with the UCLAN physiotherapy students exploring the skeleton.

I really enjoyed making pumpkin soup today. I helped to chop the pumpkin.

I liked the story of Pumpkin Soup. I helped to chop the pumpkin into cubes. It reminded me of when I made my decoration for Halloween. The soup was delicious, I would have it again.

Year Two performed the story ‘Time for Tea’ to Year One and Reception Class.  They told the story using words and actions, then wrote the story in Big Write.  An amazing performance Year Two and fantastic writing from everyone!

I loved writing a letter to Duck in Big Write, it was amazing! I felt sorry for Duck when his friends fell out with him. I was happy when they made friends at the end of the story.   April

We all enjoyed making our Mexican worry dolls.

Today we went tinto the wooldland area to look for different plants and bugs. We found woodlice, slugs and snails.I really enjoyed it. In computing we used the ipads to use Lego Fix the Factory.
