We found a beautiful caterpillar on holiday at half term. It was very colourful and had stripes running along its back. I was surprised at how fast it could travel. We watched it form a cocoon which looked like it was made of silk. Grandma is currently looking after it. I can’t wait to hear about it emerging from the cocoon.

The caterpillars kept on eating,so the butterflies looked beautiful.
I loved setting the butterfly’s free. It was fun.
